- George Bernard Shaw
Start by writing down everything that comes to mind that you feel you are putting up with. Of these tolerations (and any more that come up in the process) split them into three columns.
1. Ones that you can put up with for a bit longer (providing other things are taken care of),
2. ones that you know you need to work on over the short to medium term and
3,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. ones that have to stop right now or something serious is going to happen
You may end up with a list that's hundreds of tolerations long - don't be overwhelmed,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Just be grateful that you can recognize them.
This isn't going to happen over night - sometimes you will need to sit with a toleration for a week or more and let your sub-conscience go to work on it,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. If you've got supportive friends ask for their help in brainstorming ways around the toleration,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. That can be really effective - and a lot of fun.
When I first did my coach training we learned that these are tolerations - the things we are 'putting up with' that we really don't want to. And we went through a process that I must admit I haven't been through in a while - but the difference it made when I first did it was unbelievable.
This is just one exercise you could try. As with any coaching you can choose to tackle it... or not - despite my strong plea above . Your life is entirely in your hands. Don't you love responsibility,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]?
It may mean open communication with someone (perhaps even yourself). It may mean doing things a different way. It may simply mean looking at things a different way. It may even mean that you decide it's NOT a toleration, but a choice. You may decide it's the price you choose to pay for spending time on a more important project.
Make sure you take ownership that these are things you are tolerating without playing the blame game. For example,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], if you're annoyed that your kids never pick their towels up it is obviously their action - but it's your re-action that is the toleration.
Another thing to be aware of is judging your solutions too quickly. Don't dismiss an idea immediately just because you think it sounds silly or too hard. Out of that idea another one may come up that makes perfect sense,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Once you see them in writing (which in itself can be an eye-opener) it's time to get creative. Start with the ‘Serious' column and take them one at a time. For each toleration the idea is to come up with a way for you to not be tolerating this anymore.
So I commit to doing the 'toleration dance' this week,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. I invite you to dance along with me. Here's how it goes...
One thing to watch out for is the ‘shoulds'. If you hear yourself saying ‘I should do, or it should be' you need to stop and find out what's behind the should - either you choose to or you choose not to - should takes away your power, choosing gives it back.

I don't know about you,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but there are some things in life that just drive me crazy! Some of them are big things (like the amount of bad news on the news) and some of them are little things (like how my kitchen bench just never seems to be cleared of everything!).
Leap 'n' Bound: This is a ‘take action’ article. Don't just sit there and nod and say 'sounds wonderful'. If you want to start making a difference in your life then you need to start doing things in a different way. This exercise could be the beginning of a wonderful thing . Have you got your paper yet,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]?
People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and, if they can't find them, make them.

One of the greatest challenges facing many businesses today is finding ways to motivate and inspire their team members every day. This task is growing even more difficult, due to the turbulent economic conditions; we are facing and the ever increasing pace of change all around us. I hear many of my clients asking the question,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], “When are things going to return to normal”? Well I am afraid to say this is the new normal, change and al the uncertainty, which is associated with it,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], is here to stay. The rapid pace of change is not showing any signs of slowing down at all In fact all indicators are pointing towards the pace of change accelerating even further in the foreseeable future.
This subtle, but crucial shift will see the motivation and inspiration levels within your organisation go through the roof. Inspiring and motivating your team,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], is not an event, it is a process, which when carried out daily, will result in far more satisfied, fulfilled team members, who are driven to help their organisation achieve the results they want.
If we as business leaders, want to stay in the game and flourish, going forward, we need to find ways, to not only work within the changing and shifting environment we face, but also to be open to search for and discover ways of using change, as a tool for discovering new opportunities for our businesses. Despite the constant change all around us, it has never been more important to create a crystal clear picture of exactly what you want for your business,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], organisation or team. Remember, vision is your compass or the tool, which offers you guidance and direction. So when faced with constantly changing conditions, circumstances and new innovations, you will very quickly become overwhelmed, if you do not have a clear picture of where you want to take your business, organisation or team.
Creating Your Vision
Commit these to paper, and ensure that they are clearly and regularly communicated to all stakeholders. They must be easy to understand and very easy to communicate to all team members. Remove any ambiguity and keep them as simple as possible. American Express, for example, who are in the business of providing credit card services to people all around the world, have a very simple, yet extremely descriptive, vision statement “Become the worlds most respected service brand”
Author's Bio: ,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych];
It is also crucial to regularly communicate your vision, mission and goals to your team members, as often as feasible. This can be achieved by communicating the message at the start or end of every meeting,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], sending our weekly vision messages to your team via email, text messages or even small promotional business cards. The more creative you are and the more often each team member thinks about, understands and commits to carry out their part in delivering on the vision, the greater will be the success and the overall motivation within the team.
Communicate Your Vision
It astounds me how many organisations, have a great vision for the future, but it is one of the best kept secrets. The only way to ensure that you are moving in the direction of your vision and will be equipped to achieve your organisational goals, is to ensure that everyone in your team or teams, knows, what the overall vision of the organisation is, their individual teams vision and goals and their individual role in delivering on this vision. When your team members are clear on what is expected of them and there is no ambiguity around expectations, they will automatically become more inspired and driven to support their fellow team members, to achieve the team or organisational vision and goals.
Shift the Way you Look at Things and the Things you Look at will Change
When your team members are equipped with a clear understanding of the overall vision for their team or organisation and they completely understand their individual role on delivering on this, they are able to make a crucial shift to the way they see everything around them. As they are clear about where they are going, things that used to be “IN” their way and as such, they were constantly looking for ways to get through them, almost as if by magic shift and are now “ON” their way. When anything is on your way,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], overwhelming circumstances, become manageable and the same experience that was in your way before, now becomes part of the success journey and your team members are able to discover what they can learn form or get from any experience.
This clarity of vision and purpose, will equip you to explore any changed circumstances, changed market conditions or even new innovations and give you the benefit of foresight. You will be able to see how these new conditions, can assist you and your team to accelerate your progress, improve your performance, whilst still inexorably moving towards achieving your vision and goals. Without a clear vision and a set of dynamic strategic plans, any leader, no matter how experienced and capable,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], will quickly become overwhelmed and be unable to continue to positively influence their team members to perform at their optimal levels. The leader will be unable to be the example, they need to be to motivate and inspire their team members, to perform at their best.

This simple and short, yet very clear vision statement gives their team members,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a very simple,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], yet profound message about what they want to create in the future. McGraw-Hill Companies, who publish text books for students have a really inspiring vision statement “Support economic growth and job creation, by creating a smarter, better world” I know a vision statement like that, would get me up and inspired in the morning,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], eager to contribute to the overall vision of the organisation.
Communicate your vision
Once you have invested the time to create a vision statement, which resonates with you and the picture you have for your business,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], organisation or team is clear for all to see. Ensure that this is regularly communicated to all stakeholders. The best way to get all stakeholders to take ownership of the vision and internalise it, is to ensure that they are involved in the creation of the vision. When people feel included in the process and they have a stake in the creation of the vision for the future, they will be far more inspired to support you and the overall vision of the team or organisation.

Nuclear experts say it could take many years to learn the extent of the damage from the Japanese Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant meltdown on human health, food supplies and marine life.
Potassium iodide does not protect your body against other radioactive substances such as cesium-137. This radioactive isotope was also released into the atmosphere from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power meltdown. This toxic compound persists in the environment as it has a half life of thirty years. If you have concerns regarding the impact of radiation exposure on your health you should discuss these with your healthcare practitioner,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].

The magnitude 9.0 earthquake that hit the north eastern coast of the main Japanese island of Honshu near the port city of Sendai on March 11, 2011 and the subsequent tsunami will be go down in history as causing one of the world’s worst nuclear disasters.
Avoiding contact with radioactive iodine is the first step to minimising the threat of radioactive iodine on your thyroid,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. However exposure may be largely unavoidable in view of the fact that the radioactive fallout from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power has been quickly carried world wide on the prevailing jet streams.
The Japanese nuclear crisis released dangerous radioactive particles into the atmosphere. This includes radioactive iodine known as iodine-131. There is no safe dose of radioactive iodine-131. Iodine-131 is rapidly absorbed by the body and it has a half-life of eight days. This means it is only half as dangerous after eight days. Iodine-131 only leaves the body as it decays radioactively,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
For acute exposure to radioactive iodine in a fallout zone a higher amount of iodine is recommended,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. The WHO recommends a daily dose of 130milligrams for a short period of time before or at the beginning of exposure to radioactive iodine. Boosting iodine levels with a safe form of iodine helps block uptake of radioactive iodine. This acute dose is usually achieved with a liquid iodine supplement containing potassium iodide (KI). Potassium iodide is a salt of the stable form of iodine,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Potassium iodide has generally been found to be safe when administered at the recommended dose,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Do not use topical antiseptic iodine products such as Betadine,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
When dangerous radioactive iodine is released into the atmosphere the thyroid gland is at particular risk from irradiation,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. The thyroid gland does not differentiate between non radioactive and radioactive iodine. The danger is greater for those who are lacking iodine,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. If you suffer an iodine deficiency your body can absorb hazardous radioactive iodine,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. The radioactive iodine then builds up in the thyroid gland. This has the serious potential to damage the thyroid gland and the long term effect of exposure is thyroid cancer,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
The events in Japan have highlighted the importance of making sure you are not iodine deficient,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. When your body is low in iodine your body can absorb harmful radioactive iodine from the environment.
In normal conditions the World Health Organisation (WHO) recommends a daily iodine intake of 150 micrograms per day for adults and 250 micrograms per day for women during pregnancy.

PR professionals – Public Relations NYC pros and their worldwide brethren -- who understand how to work with journalists and how to leverage social media in a fully integrated way are the people you want to be doing business with. There have been quite a few naysayers who believe that the Public Relations NYC world is dead thanks in large part to the rise of social media. Social media has not killed the Public Relations NYC world. Quite the contrary. It has given rise to specialists in the world of digital media. PR has never about having all the control like advertising. Think of it this way: Advertising is like a monologue while PR is about dialogue. A fact many of us on the Public Relations NYC scene recognized many,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], many years ago.
The Public Relations NYC world continues to thrive in the wake of the technological revolution which has given rise and power to social media. Regardless of the changes the Internet and social media have wrought,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], there will always be a need for New York PR professionals and their counterparts throughout the world to enhance the dialogue between companies and their publics. The real questions are: what will that communication look like and does your current firm constantly evolve to help you with it?

PR,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], particularly as practiced by Public Relations NYC professionals,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], has often been thought of as “spin control.” Many reporters view Public Relations NYC professionals with disdain for employing such tactics as sending out bad or misguided pitches or serving as gatekeepers for CEOs and executives. Nothing could be further from the truth as good PR practitioners -- be they members of the Public Relations NYC community or not – possess an awareness of outside trends and sentiments,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a good corporate conscience while facilitating an authentic dialogue between organizations and the public – through traditional and social media,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], as well as several other means. Perhaps you embody it on a regular basis, if not you might want to add it to your “To Do List”! Je ne sais quoi", means "I don't know what" in French. In America you say it when you don't know what else to say or you can't quite put your finger on something.
You have a passion for connecting with your customers/clients at the core. Perhaps it’s the way you speak,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], your writing style or the way you deliver your gifts and talents. You know how to inspire, challenge and you’re not intimidated to creatively express your X Factor. People just “Get You”! They may not always know why, yet they continue to come back for more.

You have qualities that reign inside/out. When people look at you, they want to engage with you. They are intrigued and wish to learn more. You, your business card, your marketing materials,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], your web presence, and your brand image are all in alignment. It goes beyond being visually stunning. It’s provoking a confidence and being magnetic. Your X Factor is what determines if you are worth doing business with and investing in. In sales it would be called your unique selling point.

The X Factor is something that I heard daily working in the entertainment industry but I think it’s just as important in other industries,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], especially if you want your business to garner worldwide attention. I also believe if you discover your X Factor you won’t have to worry about competition. Learn what your X Factor is,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the thing that differentiates you!
How do YOU GET "IT"? What does it really mean? In some instances, it’s truly beyond words,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but very recognizable emotionally. Perhaps you have an air about you, a style that can't be duplicated. When you walk into a room,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], all eyes are on you! You are someone that other’s aspire to be.
Look at your business, does it have that 'je ne sais quoi', or X Factor that will make you stand out from the crowd and make people want to buy?
It’s time to harness your X Factor and direct the power of “it” to propel your business.
What does it take to be a successful entrepreneur? It’s not always a matter of having the best skills and ivy league training,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Let’s look at your business. Where can we find the X Factor or a hint of ‘je ne sais quoi' in what you do? One thing is for certain, you definitely know when you have it,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or have done something that has a bit of 'je ne sais quoi' about it. People WILL notice!
In a technology driven world where people have lost their desire to connect with people on a deeper level. Wouldn’t it be nice to leave people speechless by using your X Factor to make authentic connections,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]?
There’s only one you…
eXceptional on the inside…
eXceptional on the outside…
You can be intelligent,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], work hard, sacrifice,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], be a sales superstar, brilliant marketer and truly exceptional at what you do and though these ignite attention in the marketplace it’s your X Factor that will captivate an audience.

Strong family systems work—those in residential treatment will tell you that having the family work on its issues while their child is working on theirs is one of the greatest benefits of residential treatment. If the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result, parents need to make sure they are learning how to do things differently while their son or daughter is healing.
Many cater to specific populations,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], e.g. teens, substance abuse,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], etc. To be candid, as in any industry some of these residential programs are outstanding, highly ethical,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and have a reputation for doing excellent work. Others may leave much to be desired. For parents who attempt to find a program on the internet, the array of choices can create confusion about what is best for their son or daughter.
The first principle is to get professional help,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], where possible,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], in making this decision. Normally your son or daughter will be seeing a local counselor, psychiatrist,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or therapist. Ask for their suggestions and advice. Get their perspective on what elements are most important for an out-of-home placement. Some families will hire professionals known as “educational consultants” to assist with finding the right program. As with the programs themselves,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], do your homework before hiring a consultant to make sure they are really what you need. In situations where there is no outside professional assistance,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], parents should put as much time as possible in doing due diligence. If you end up doing the homework on their own, make sure to visit PRIOR to placement,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], make sure that the facility is set up to handle all of the issues their child presents, and do yourself a favor and get as many references as possible. In every case, be aware of a program that takes everybody, because the chances are very good that your specific needs won’t get met.
Gender specific programming—when boys or girls are highly sexually active,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], putting them in a co-ed setting with the opposite sex is often not the best choice for obvious reasons. Even if programs successfully keep the two sexes from mixing too much, studies show that the presence of the opposite sex can be a distraction in therapy and slows down rate of progress.

ideal university professors should be what kind of person? In Yi Zhongtian's view, should be investigated from three aspects of moral, knowledge and body.
because of "China today, is not the moral problem! You tell that put melamine, tonyred,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], do the poisonous rice, what to talk about ideal? What is faith?"
he explained: "the morality can not matter, also can ask,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but to have a bottom line: one of your professors and students for female friend, no? You bastard to scold the student in the classroom, can not? This is the bottom line."
second,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], whether the title or promotion, the representative to explain what is the significance of it and the contribution and innovation in science, but also in accordance with the who "proof of principle who provide relevant evidence.
so the knowledge perspective,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Yi Zhongtian advocated a book.
in his mind, the ideal university,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], must solve two problems: one is the appointment of Professor, a title.
third, review. Yi Zhongtian believes that the anonymous voting means irresponsibility, he agreed with Mr. Zheng Yefu the paste name system design. Real name, but the name is not announced, paste up, give a decryption phase, all >
and occupation moral problems can be solved by academic way. The bottom line is not plagiarism, do not copy. He criticizes the quantitative assessment of the university teachers is how to lose academic bottom-line. "Now the University's farm, the number of your day has eggs, endless let you fill in the form, and then ask why you don't have an innovative eggs. How students come to?"
personality problems,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], can not engage in quantitative scoring like popular now in the society. Yi Zhongtian thinks,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the professor must have a bottom line, occupation morality.
China Youth newspaper
The
recently,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], in the Liu Daoyu Education Foundation launched the "ideal" University "special topics on the theory", Professor Yi Zhongtian of Xiamen University for his old headmaster and bole Liu Daoyu suggestions: to pursue the ideal of the University, the first to establish a baseline for university professors, and influence on society and to a baseline of society.
Yi Zhongtian value system construction,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he thinks, screening personnel promotion can not put their hopes in the future university in Cai Yuanpei,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or all principals have vision and level like Liu Daoyu.
Yi Zhongtian recalls,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he entered the Wuhan University, Mr. Hu Guorui, Mr. Wu Linbo, Mr. Liu Yuchang met with him that the first sentence is "not allowed to write papers". In the social sciences an entry-level people not qualified to write a paper, "you only read a couple of books, the book you read? Able to read?"
body is the most minor conditions, physical examination can be,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], as long as there is no infectious disease, even Hocking also no problem.
the ideal university declare title or position, only need a masterpiece, but are not allowed to say I have many. "Not selling Chinese cabbage, what floor! Only a representative work, up to three".

To test drive candidates before making a decision, apply the following laws of three:
Author',[link widoczny dla zalogowanych];s Bio: ,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych];
* Always interview at least three people for a position,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
* Interview the leading candidate in three different places.
* Have the candidate interviewed by at least three different people.
That is why it is important to create clear expectations and metrics to measure what it means to do a great job. Without frequent feedback,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a manager can unwittingly under-appreciate the best performers and promote the worst ones.
Great people are good team players.
Great people are concerned with what is right rather than who is right.
Great people are intensely results oriented,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Great people accept high levels of responsibility for the outcomes required of them.
Great people consider the company a great place to work.
The manager's job is to get the highest possible return on the company's investment in human resources. This is achieved by unlocking the potential of each individual,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], hiring carefully, assigning clear tasks, managing people positively, motivating them continually, and practicing consideration, caring,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and courtesy on a regular basis.
In studying the methods of motivating employees and building great teams, researchers have found that the single most important factor is having clear expectations. When a manager confidently expects people to succeed, to perform,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], to excel, to commit to getting the job done quickly and well, they almost invariable rise to those expectations.
The critical measure of success in any business is the ability to get results, and therefore great employees are those who get the job done quickly and well, consistently and at high levels of quality. Great employees are defined by five key success factors:
The most profound issue driving employee engagement is their relationship with their boss. Between 65 percent and 85% percent of the costs of operation, less cost of goods sold,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], will be personnel costs.
It is important to find people that are in alignment with the organization's purpose. Great teams are composed of diverse, impassioned people who may have only a few things in common. Ideally, they are smart and savvy,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], hardworking, ambitious, and nice in a constructive way that adds value for both coworkers and customers.
Leaders need to hire slowly and carefully, thereby increasing the likelihood of making good choices. Poor hiring decisions cost between three and five times the person's annual salary.
Conversely, an effective manager must have the courage to fire negative or disruptive people for the greater good of the team. Many managers do not provide frequent or frank enough performance reviews to make it possible to fire people when they should, without legal problems. Most managers and employees avoid honest reviews because they find them politically and emotionally painful.

Do you remember when you were a child and you used to bounce on your bed? It was fun wasn’t it? You can still have that same kind of fun while doing the best thing you can do for your body. That’s rebounding. When you rebound every cell in your body gets nourished because the lymphatic system is massaged so to speak by the up and down motion of your body. The lymphatic system has no pump,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so it relies on body movement to open and close the one-way valves to carry lymphatic cells through the channels. I am no doctor but a leading lymphologist, Dr. C. Samuel West states When the lymphatic system is congested, the cells become deprived of oxygen, affecting the body’s ability to rid itself of its own waste material. Over time,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], other body systems that rely on the lymphatic system for waste removal will also become compromised, setting the stage for pain and disease.
Millions have turned to rebounding because it’s easier on the joints. It separates itself from other exercises such as weight lifting which can be very dangerous if done incorrectly. Bouncing up and down is natural; we have done it most of our lives in one way or another. Anyone who has tried lifting weights to get into shape knows the pain incurred over the next couple of weeks. Soreness from exercise occurs when lactic acid builds in your tissues and produces inflammation. When the lymphatic system is moving, it will flush out the lactic acid from your tissues and you will have little or no soreness,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], another reason rebounding is such a great way to exercise. How many times have you quit your exercise routine because you couldn’t get past the soreness?
If you are anything like me, you understand the will,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], determination, and excitement generated by the decision to finally get into shape. The first week is usually pretty good, and depending on your determination it could last a month,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but sooner or later you stop and you feel like a failure again. I will take a moment to share something I have learned. Without getting long winded I wanted to get into shape because I didn’t like who I was, or what I looked like. I cared too much about what other people thought when they looked at me. I had to learn to like myself before I could help myself. I have lost eighty pounds in the last six months. Within ten minutes upon arising I am on my rebounder. It’s not something I think about,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or have to work myself up for. I just do it. What’s this got to do with the benefits of rebounding? Well it’s fun,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it’s easy, and no matter how young, or old, or what shape you’re in,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or even if you are disabled, you can rebound and benefit by it.
I could give you more scientific reasons for rebounding, but there are many other articles that have been written that explain them. All exercise is beneficial. The hard part is sticking with it. Let’s face it time has a way of making changes in our routines. Weight lifting is hardly fitting at the age of eighty, or ninety yet rebounding is a viable option. Granted if you’re young enough and want to look like Mr. Universe, weight lifting is the way to go. But if your goal is to be healthy and in good shape,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you will be hard pressed to find an exercise more practical and beneficial than rebounding.
Whatever exercise you choose I wish you the very best success,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].

The same is true for the tradeshow environment. While it may not be appropriate for your booth staffers to wear a uniform,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it is essential that they all present a similiar, professional appearance.
It's only after you understand the attendee that you can start offering solutions to their problem. This is the crucial part of relationship building, the vital aspect of face to face marketing.
Be specific when detailing what you want your staffers to wear. "Office casual" doesn't help. Instead, list the elements of the look you want: Shirt with collar, black slacks,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], blue tie,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], scarf, etc.
Author',[link widoczny dla zalogowanych];s Bio:
What do you do if your team hasn't been preparing? Even the worst student can occassionally pull off an A+ with some last minute cramming. Consider a day long intensive training session, attended by every member of your team. This is as important for the 'old hands' as for the newbies. Everyone needs to brush up on something!
When September rolls around, parents all across the country gleefully take to the stores, loading up their carts with all the supplies their little darlings will need to make it through the coming academic year. After all, school is a really busy time, and to do well, you need to be prepared.
Listening Ears
This is the one supply teachers wish their students had! It's crucial to listen more than you talk, especially in the tradeshow environment. Ask qualifying questions and learn what the attendee's problems are. What do they need?
School Uniform
Many school systems require uniforms. They say it promotes a more focused learning environment, cuts down on distractions, and helps their student body convey a specific image.
Too many staffers, eager to talk with as many people as possible in as short a time as possible, get in a pattern of repeating their sales spiel over and over and over, without ever listening to the attendee. This is not very effective. Insist your staffers wear their listening ears.
The same holds true for tradeshows. Autumn is the busiest time of year for exhibitors -- and just like those students we were talking about,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], to do well,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], your booth staffers need to be prepared. It's time to do a little shopping! Instead of stocking up with notebooks, number 2 pencils and highlighters,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], your booth staffers need a different set of supplies. Here's what you need for tradeshow back to school:
Assignment Book
Students use assignment books to write down what their teacher assigns for homework. Booth staffers don't have homework,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but they do need to know exactly what they're supposed to be doing, and when they're supposed to be doing it.
For ultimate results, make sure that your lead gathering system has a prioritization function. Hot leads should be handled immediately -- perhaps overnighted back to the home office for next-day follow up -- while others should be sorted into promising, maybe,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and unlikely categories.
Pens &,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]; Pencils
In the course of a tradeshow, your staffers will speak with hundreds of people. There's no way they'll remember names and faces after the event. That means when they're looking at a pile of business cards,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it'll be impossible to discern who was a likely prospect for a big sale and who was a nitpicker who only wanted to complain about his last purchase. As a result, often, neither lead gets followed up!

Notebooks
Staffing the tradeshow is a lot of work. There is a lot your booth staff has to know -- about what to say, when to say it, how to say it, and what questions to ask. Luckily,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], if your team is prepared with lots of notes from the pre-show training you provided before the show season started, they'll be well prepared.
Before the show starts, clearly deliniate who will be working the booth, and at what times. Assign break and meal periods -- which need to happen off of the show floor. Don't just leave this up to your team to decide for themselves. Otherwise, someone will wind up missing a break and become disgruntled and cranky, or someone else will take far too long of a lunch, leaving his peers to shoulder an unfair share of the load.
Additionally, delegate responsibilities. Who is responsible for making sure the display is set up properly? Who takes it down and prepares it for shipping at the end of the day? Someone has to overnight hot leads back to the home office, and so on. Make sure your team knows who is expected to do what.
Select and implement a lead-gathering system. Train your people how to use it -- especially important if it's a newer, high-tech system -- and insist upon its use. This way, your staffers will be gathering more high quality information. Follow up will be easier and more effective.

Imagine being able to avoid problems before they occur, foresee problems, and play bigger and more focused achieving more than you ever dreamed. That’s the power of a high-level mastermind. It is one of the best investments you will make in yourself and in your business.
• Peak levels of performance,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
• Feedback and personal improvement.
• Critical knowledge in how to do business in this new marketplace,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
• Strategically advanced sales and marketing systems.
• Focus on the strategic elements of your business in order to take it to the next higher level.
In today’s changing marketplace, you cannot possibly know everything you need to know to be successful. When you leverage the power of the Mastermind, you don’t have to know it all. Once you are a part of a successful Mastermind Group, using the full power of the group, you’ll be positioned to anticipate business and financial challenges becoming much more successful quicker than you imagined.
In my experience in creating and facilitating Mastermind Groups, I’ve found these tried-and-true principles that leverage the power of Mastermind groups to create accelerated success:
When you engage in a coordination of knowledge from people who are united in achieving a defined goal,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the outcome can be so powerful and riveting. I’ve been a part of and have facilitated many Masterminds over the years. After just one year in one of my Mastermind programs, one of my clients remarked how it got her out of debt and into a 200% increase in her income in just one year.

2. Set ground rules. Ground rules are governing principles of conduct and become important to the group’s sustainability and success. The ground rules should be written to encourage positive behaviors and limit unconstructive ones. Consider and discuss specific kinds of behaviors that will or will not be acceptable, formulate ground rules governing those behaviors, and establish consequences when those ground rules are broken. Consider discussing these key meeting criteria:
• Meeting frequency and absences. Discussing when you’ll meet and when and how many absences are acceptable might sound elementary, but it is vital to the success of any Mastermind. Define consequences for members who break them and enforce them consistently. Early absences or tardiness are indications of a mismatch or lack of commitment.
• Meeting structure. To avoid any one person from taking all of the time, it is important to have an Agenda for the Mastermind, define the timeframes, and hold to those timeframes. This aids in everyone benefiting from the session.
3. Commit to the Mastermind. There’s nothing more important than commitment. Once commitment starts to stray,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], address it head on. Once you commit and immerse yourself in the Mastermind,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the experience should help you stretch personally, include advanced strategies, and provide ongoing support. It’s not always about what you can receive. It’s about what you can give. A fully cycle of reciprocity will help the group continuously thrive.
When run well, a Mastermind gives you many things including:
1. Be a part of the right mix of people. It’s important to have the right mix of people who can trigger those out-of-the-box ideas that will pump new energy into your business. There are two tools that can help in selecting the right people. Over the years, I’ve hosted year-long Masterminds and have used these two tools with tremendous success:
• Motivational-Based Tools. Over the years, I’ve found that everyone has their own unique set of motivational drivers (or hardwiring). When you get the right mix of people with their unique set of hardwiring, this brings exponential synergy to the sessions. Each member’s natural hardwiring, combined with experience, creates unimaginable idea generation and implementation. Some people are natural idea generators, others are implementers, and still others are relationship drivers. When the right mix is combined in a group, you get a set of perspectives that help you to anticipate situations before they arise. Additionally, your own unique mix adds value to the other Mastermind members.
• Interview Process,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. One of the most important parts of the process is to conduct interviews,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. An interview helps both parties decide if the Mastermind is the right fit,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Each person comes with their own set of ideas or expectations on what they want to get and give to the Mastermind. Understanding upfront whether or not there is an alignment in those expectations helps to avoid any mismatch later.
If you’re feeling like you’d rather skip going to your Mastermind and do something else instead, you’re probably not in the right Mastermind. By being a part of the right mix of people,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you receive unrestricted access to well-connected and collaborative partners who have their own secrets to success. It may have taken them decades to master those success principles,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but you get to implement them in your business right away helping you save time, money, and grow exponentially.

Its extremely popular, but it is really safe for you?
Eating more animal-based products may lead into high consumption of saturated fat and cholesterol,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which some authorities believe will increase the risk of heart disease.
What follows are a few pertinent points to help you make up your mind,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].

The case against low carbohydrate diets
We hope that helps,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and best wishes meeting your weight loss objectives.
Finally, one point that is usually overlooked, it is extremely hard (though not technically impossible) for vegetarians to adopt a reduced carbohydrate diet.
Many studies over the years have proved that high consumption of animal fat can result in higher probability of cancer, coronary disease and other major health problems.
The majority of the unpleasant side-effects observed, such as persistent tiredness, constipation, diarrhea, or headaches are only temporary,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but critics contend that low carb diets are not without permanently harmful side effects.

Although there is some anecdotal evidence that suggests that low carbohydrate diets can help achieve weight loss,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], some of this anecdotal evidence has resulted in many arguments between nutrition experts, and their relative safety has been brought into question.
Moreover,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it has been hypothesised that the kidneys may become stressed and that the consequential change in acid levels in the blood can cause the loss of bone, but some of the scientific studies testing the hypothesis have failed to find significant evidence of damage to the kidneys or bone damage.
Reducing carbs may mean missing out on necessary nutrients from healthy foods which should be part of any well adjusted diet,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], particularly those obtained from grains,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], vegetables and fruits.

Author's Bio: ,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych];
Last but not least…
First let’s take a look at the top 11 health benefits of exercise, many of these you probably haven’t heard of:
2) Exercise helps you get a good nights sleep. The body takes the serotonin, described in #1 above, and also turns it into melatonin. Melatonin is closely tied to sleep patterns. Exercise lets you get the good quality sleep that’s essential for healthy living.
4) Exercise gives you energy. Dr. Patrick O’Connor of the University of Georgia analyzed the data from over 6,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],800 test subjects. His results, published in the Psychological Bulletin, concluded that more than 90 percent of sedentary people had more energy when they exercised. “More than 90% of the studies showed the same thing: Sedentary people who completed a regular exercise program reported improved fatigue compared to groups that did not exercise. It's a very consistent effect,” says O'Connor. Not surprisingly, the study also concluded that the increased energy was more than that from stimulant medications – and had zero negative side effects.
5) Exercise distracts you from stress and gives you a release. One of the biggest contributors to stress is not the stress trigger itself – it’s the recurring conscious – and subconscious – thoughts that come after. When you exercise, it tells your body that it's time to change the subject and move on.
Exercise lowers the risk of falling (or being hurt by a fall). People that exercise have better balance - meaning that they fall less often. Even more, exercise prevents osteoporosis - protecting against broken bones in the event of a fall.
9) Exercise prevents every major disease. Exercise increases HDL “good” cholesterol and decreases triglycerides. This helps prevent the buildup of plaque in your arteries and keeps your blood flowing smoothly - preventing heart disease. Exercise also prevents type 2 diabetes and most types of cancer.
10) Exercise helps you lose weight. Diet alone isn’t enough. In the words of Dr. Michael Murray, “If you want to be healthy and achieve your ideal body weight, you must exercise.”
How much exercise do you need? According to the Mayo Clinic, you should get “at least 30 minutes of aerobic activity most days of the week.”
Unfortunately, the reality is that less than 10 percent of Western adults exercise regularly. According to Dr. Carl Caspersen of the Federal Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], getting the benefits of exercise is something any of us can achieve. ''You don't have to be a marathoner,” says Dr. Caspersen, “In fact,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you get much more benefit out of being just a bit more active. For example,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], going from being sedentary to walking briskly for a half hour several days a week can drop your risk dramatically.''
3) Exercise makes you happy. When you exercise, the body releases endorphins – the bodies’ all-natural opiates. These endorphins bind to the same receptors in your brain as man-made drugs,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but with zero risk and zero side-effects, (other than feeling great, naturally).

11) Exercise lowers blood pressure. Exercise strengthens the heart and cardiovascular system. When the heart is strong, it doesn’t have to work as hard, lowering blood pressure. People that get even moderate exercise can expect to lower their resting systolic blood pressure by around 5 to 10 points. Results like this are in line with many blood pressure medications.

7) Exercise improves immune function. People who get regular moderate exercise get sick about half as often as people who don’t. According to research published in Sports Medicine,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], “Studies on the influence of moderate exercise training on… …immune function have shown that near-daily brisk walking compared with inactivity reduced the number of sickness days by half over a 12 to 15-week period…”
1) Exercise calms you down. When you exercise, the body uses larger amino acids to build muscle. With the larger amino acids temporarily occupied,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], one of the smaller ones, called L-tryptophan, is more free to enter brain cells. L-tryptophan triggers the release of serotonin - a key positive mood regulator. [Another way to help boost your serotonin is by eating foods rich in tryptophan, such as: beef,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], chicken, eggs,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], green peas,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], milk, peanut butter, potatoes, salmon and, the one you’ve probably heard of - turkey.]
6) Exercise gives you a longer life. People that get regular exercise can expect to live another 5.7 years longer than their sedentary counterparts.
It’s important to note that everyone’s health needs are different and you shouldn’t start or stop an exercise program without approval from your physician,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].

This means not just any old system, but one that will keep up with the pace of your dynamic organisation and continuously track the supply and demand of human resources in order to support you bridge and its inefficiency gap. When finding the right system for your human resource planning, the following steps are a must:
2. Determine the current and future DEMAND of human resources
All organisations have a variety of projects that require different people with different skills,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], yet tracking this at a micro level is difficult and cumbersome, especially in a large organisation. Hence,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it is necessary to have a system in place where the various resource demand created by planned and unplanned activities can be tracked and managed at macro level. A system that tracks project related work and also non project related unplanned work such as business as usual activities and help desk support in order to calculate the total resources demanded.
1,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Determine the current and future SUPPLY of human resources
Since employees are located all over the place – within departments,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], teams, projects, offices, cities and countries – it is important to have an organisation wide visibility of the quantity and quality of the people you have employed. To ensure this, it is critical that you have a centralised system in place where the following information can be systematically recorded and managed for the whole organisation:
It can be easy. Finding the best person for the job can be easily achieved through the use of a robust resource planning and scheduling software – a tool that will find the correct resource with the click of a button. A tool that will measure and track the utilisation of individual human resources,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so that new work can be allocated and existing work can be reallocated in order to balance the work load across the organisation and achieve optimum utilisation.
In today’s organisations, it is increasingly difficult to manually calculate an accurate demand and supply of human resources across the organisation. This is because when there are complex organisational structures,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], matrix management and many projects, the visibility of the work and resources goes down. If you want to enable accurate human resource planning in order to maximise the utilisation of your employees, then it is important that you implement a proper centralised system with the right processes.
• Individual Capabilities i.e. skills, trainings, certification.
• Work history on different jobs, projects,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], functional areas.
• Areas of interest and types of roles an individual can play.
• Current and future work hours of an individual.
• Planned and unplanned leave.
• Public holidays,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], part time and full time work calendar.

4. Build and implement future plan to bridge the gap between DEMAND & SUPPLY
No matter how much we attempt to reallocate our resources, we often end up with resourcing gaps where we have too many employees,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or sometimes don’t have enough. The important thing is being able to identify this in advance and plan accordingly to ensure that our organisations run smoothly. In such situations organisations should ensure they:
Maximising the utilisation of human capital is much easier said than done, and unfortunately, the poor allocation of human resources adversely affects the bottom line as they are often the greatest overhead. Nonetheless as described above, all this can be managed efficiently if we use the right systems, software and processes.
One such software is resource planning and scheduling software which has been specifically designed to address all the resource challenges faced by all sorts of organisations. The beauty of this product is that it can be configured to suit your organisations needs, whilst being affordable and easy to use.
• Build and implement a proper recruitment plan based on the resourcing gaps i.e. plan to hire people at the appropriate time.
• Retrain current employees to acquire new set of skills to maximise the efficiency of existing staff.
• Provide better incentives to retain people with rare skill sets – as they can be hard to come by.
People are indeed the greatest assets to an organisation; they are the foundation,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but also one of the largest expenses. Thus it is critical that an organisation ensures that these human assets are properly utilised before going ahead and hiring new staff. However, when you have hundreds of projects and many employees,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], there is bound to be a resource allocation inefficiency – right? Wrong. Resource inefficiency can be greatly reduced – if we make the right choice.
1. Determine current and future SUPPLY of human resources.
2. Determine current and future DEMAND of human resources.
3. Match DEMAND with SUPPLY and determine the gap,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
4. Create and implement plan to bridge the gap between DEMAND & SUPPLY.
3. Match DEMAND with SUPPLY and determine the resourcing gaps
It may sound simple, that once the supply and demand of human resources have determined accurately, they need to be matched up. It is important to ensure that the right person for the project is identified based on the required skill, role, training, availability and area of interest. This ensures a win-win situation for both employees and employers and ultimately adds to the profitability of the company. Sounds quite challenging doesn’t it?
